Pop-up Volunteering – Connecting our people with those in need
Ovintiv and our employee resource group, LINK is taking a fresh approach to volunteerism across our company. This fall, we piloted pop-up volunteer events in each of our corporate offices – they were a huge success. Our employees are always looking for ways to make a difference and did not hesitate to sign up for volunteer events held earlier in November. Colleagues in each of our three corporate offices connected to assemble snack bags and lunches, providing the essentials for some of our communities’ most vulnerable
In total, close to 600 bags were assembled in support of three local charities: Urban Peak, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston and the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association (CIWA).
