Ovintiv is a member of the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP), a collaborative public/private partnership that aims to strengthen and improve the quality of life for Permian Basin residents by supporting initiatives to improve public education, create safer roads, increase access to quality healthcare, develop the workforce of the future and increase housing availability.
In alignment with our social investment funding priorities, Ovintiv supported 2024 PSP initiatives focused on education, safety and healthcare. This includes the Harmony Odessa Campus expansion and a proposed education initiative, both aimed at increasing access to high-quality education in the Permian Basin, as well as the Ector County Career and Technical Education Center, to continue growing the Permian Basin’s future workforce. Ongoing support for the Permian Basin Medical Center and a new partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation Odessa District and Midland County for a safety service patrol program rounded out PSP initiatives for 2024.
