OVINTIV RECOGNIZED BY INSPIRATION RANCH
Ovintiv is a proud supporter of Inspiration Ranch, an organization working to improve the lives of those facing physical, mental and emotional challenges through their equine-assisted services. In fall 2024, Inspiration Ranch recognized Ovintiv for dedication and volunteerism as part of the 16th Annual Denim and Diamonds Gala.

Supporting First Responders
We proudly support our first responders, including financial contributions to volunteer fire departments in our operating areas in the U.S. and Canada. For example, in 2024 our contributions supported fire stations in Northern Alberta. We also encourage fire safety through contributions to Fire Prevention Week.
Sponsoring STARS
We have been a proud partner with STARS, an emergency response and critical care organization, for over 20 years and recognize the value and importance of this critical service. STARS ensures rapid access to life-saving emergency services for our staff and service providers who may experience a serious medical condition while working in remote areas.
Fundraising for Community Safety
At the 2024 Wine, Women and Shoes Fundraiser in support of the Midland Rape Crisis and Children’s Advocacy Center (MRCCAC), Ovintiv sponsored the King of Sole competition. Ovintiv’s Shoe Guys raised $18,000, with collective fundraising at the event totaling over $560,000! The funds raised support advocacy for victims and families of the MRCCAC in the Permian Basin, offering an important resource for individuals in crisis.
Connecting Youth with Mentors
We are honored to be part of the Energizing Communities Collective through our partnership with Classroom Champions. Together, alongside 23 Western Canadian energy companies, over C$312,000 was raised at the Champion Chats luncheon held in Calgary. This incredible achievement will connect thousands of youths with athlete role models in local, rural, and Indigenous communities, teaching them skills to thrive in and out of the classroom.
Inspiring Young Innovators
In 2024, Ovintiv sponsored initiatives to enrich our communities while inspiring the next generation of energy innovators. We celebrated the unveiling of the new Nature Play installation at the Denver Museum of Nature and proudly partnered with the Denver Children’s Museum, Kids Crüe, the Houston Energy Day Festival and the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum to engage children in STEAM and STEM-based activities.
Recognizing Young Leaders
Ovintiv is proud to support young people advancing leadership and development in agricultural careers through the Oklahoma FFA Foundation. In 2024, seven chapters received the Ovintiv and Devon Technology and Innovation Grant which can be used to purchase equipment like hydroponic systems, incubators, drones, ultrasound machines and more.
Helping Build Homes
In 2024, Ovintiv engaged in projects that address essential needs within our communities through the Habitat for Humanity Industry Build in Calgary as well as build days in Denver and Houston.
Collaborating with Children’s Hospitals
Following the 2023 announcement of our partnerships with the children’s hospitals in Denver, The Woodlands, and Calgary —investing $10.2 million dollars over the next three years — our team has been actively involved in supporting various initiatives with these partners. In Denver and Calgary, staff worked the phones at radiothons and cooked and served healthy meals to families at their local Ronald McDonald House. In the Woodlands, we celebrated the opening of the new behavioral Intensive Outpatient Program, and our team helped resurface the entry road at Inspiration Ranch.
Supporting Food Security
Throughout 2024, Ovintiv contributed to the resiliency of the communities where we operate through efforts to help fight hunger and food scarcity. Across the Company, our staff packed nutritious meals and collected food and donations in support of local foodbanks and organizations supporting those in need. In the Permian Basin, our team showed up to support the West Texas Food Bank Boom Town Showdown where energy companies competed to fill pantry boxes, with our Ovintiv team packing over 1,900 boxes in two hours.
Permian Strategic Partnership
Ovintiv is a member of the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP), a collaborative public/private partnership that aims to strengthen and improve the quality of life for Permian Basin residents by supporting initiatives to improve public education, create safer roads, increase access to quality healthcare, develop the workforce of the future and increase housing availability.
Ovintiv Gives, our workplace giving program, matches employee charitable contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000 per employee per year. At Ovintiv, we believe there is a human connection between the energy we produce and the energy of our people.
